Before you order, please read the following to make sure you understand and agree with how we operate to better serve you:

1. Our products are packed in insulated boxes, with dry ice to ensure freshness and protection during transport. At reception, macarons should be refrigerated if they are to be consumed within two days. Otherwise, they can be kept in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
2. For best flavor, macarons should sit at room temperature for 15 minutes if they were refrigerated, or 45 minutes if they were frozen.
3. Shipments are made Monday through Thursday each week, for reception Wednesday through Saturday using the US Post Office's Priority Mail Service. Most areas are reached within 2 business days, some destinations require 3 business days..
4. We will only ship a parcel if your destination can be reached within the same week and no later than Friday or Saturday of the same week, whichever day constitutes the last day of delivery by the Post Office for the concerned destination. Otherwise we will ship the subsequent Monday
5. When delivery occurs, we usually instruct the Post Office to drop-off the parcel at destination, without requiring the signature of the addressee (signature waiver). This enables the addressee to find the parcel quickly in case he has stepped out of the house or office during delivery. Please specify if you want a signature at delivery. If not, we will use the signature waiver for your shipment.
6. We are not responsible for a parcel that either has not been collected from the Post Office for more than 12 hours after the first attempt of delivery or ordered for delivery while the addressee is out of town. We suggest that our clients ensure there will be someone at destination to either receive or find the parcel the day of its drop-off or collect it from the Post Office within 12 hours of the first attempt of delivery.
7. Because of its fragility, some breakage of the biscuit may occur during transport, but that will not affect the taste and quality of our product.
8. Cancellation of order will be accepted only if done 2 business days before planned shipment
9. Shipping damages: upon reception, please inspect the condition of the shipment and report any damages to your US Post Office driver. Please email within 12 hours of reception pictures showing the damages to customerservice@essencemacaron.com.  Any damage claim without supporting pictures will unfortunately not be considered.
10. Return and refund: please do not attempt to return the macarons, we will not cover return shipping charges. In case a refund is due we will mail you a company check within two weeks of accepted refund.
